About Luxora
A radiant home for artists and audiences.
Luxora means light. We built a theater where light, story and space converge to inspire: a full-service, 400+ seat venue where artistic vision meets elevated design, rooted in Austin’s cultural energy.
Light as legacy
Lux is illumination: of creativity, collaboration and community.
Crafted for creators
The space empowers directors, choreographers, musicians and storytellers.
Audience first
Every seat feels personal, immersive and unforgettable.
The campus
Part of APAX, the Austin Performing Arts and Training Complex.
Austin has lacked accessible, high-quality space for artists to create, rehearse, perform and connect in one place. APAX brings 50,000 square feet and seventeen studios together on South Lamar. The Luxora is its theater: the house, green room, lounges, two rehearsal studios, a content studio and the bar.
